C’est avec une profonde tristesse que le secrétariat ACP a appris le décès soudain survenu à Dakar de Son Excellence Monsieur Mame Balla SY, Ambassadeur du Sénégal à Bruxelles. L e secrétariat exprime à la famille du défunt, au personnel de l’Ambassade du Sénégal à Bruxelles, au gouvernement, et à tout le peuple sénégalais ses profondes condoléances. S.E. Monsieur Mame Balla SY était un homme de qualité et de conviction qui pendant tout son séjour à Bruxelles a apporté une contribution éminente aux questions de développement qui occupent le Groupe ACP dans son partenariat avec l’Union européenne. Bruxelles, le 2 aout 2007 It is with deep sadness that the ACP Secretariat has learnt of the untimely death in Dakar, of His Excellency Monsieur Mame Balla SY, Ambassador of Senegal in Brussels. The ACP Secretariat would like to express its deepest sympathy to the family of the deceased, to the personnel of the Senegalese Embassy in Brussels, to the Government and all the Senegalese people. His Excellency Monsieur Mame Balla SY, was a man of great qualities and conviction, who during his posting in Brussels, made a significant contribution to the very important development issues which are at the heart of the discussions between the ACP Group and its partner, the European Union.
