1.      At the invitation of the Government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, a short-term Election Observation Mission of the African, Caribbean and Pacific Group of States (ACP) was dispatched to Malabo from 23 to 28 May 2013 to monitor the legislative, senatorial and municipal elections held in  that country on 26 May 2013.

Brussels, 10 June 2013/ ACP: Trade negotiations between the European bloc and the some ACP members may move closer to a resolution now, with plans for a political panel to tackle the longstanding deadlock in talks.

Brussels, 7 June 2013/ ACP Press Release: The ACP Ministers who held with their EU partners a joint Council of Ministers in Brussels on 6-7 June are rather pleased with a compromise on the financial envelope of the 11^th European Development Fund, and with a step made by the EU on the EPA. The ACP Group welcomes the approval of the request of Somalia for accession to the Cotonou Agreement.
